WHAT is a "Recruitment Party" ?

A [TiC] Clan "Recruitment Party" is when we get a bunch of volunteers together at a scheduled time to go looking and advertising for new applicants. We do this by jumping on Half-Life (or other games) servers, jump in gaming chat rooms, post in gaming forums, and then looking/asking/advertising for potential new applicants. See the [TiC] Clan Event Calendar for times and dates of Recruitment Parties. EVERYONE should show up for "Recruitment Parties". Its YOUR chance to give BACK "10%" and help your Clan. It is also a great opportunity for you to help introduce new guys and gals to the "PROMISED LAND" here at the MiGHTY [TiC] Clan. HELPing at "Recruitment Parties" is a good way to EARN a TRY OUT and your way into the MiGHTY [TiC] Clan yourself.

[TiC] "RECRUITING Department" Responsibilities:

[TiC]BIG is the "Department Manager" in charge of the [TiC]Clan "RECRUITING Department". The [TiC] Clan's Main Recruiter's RESPONSIBILITIES are:

1. Weekly advertising in open forums for more mature, friendly, adult, helpful, long term loyal members. Coordinate this effort and divide up the forums amongst the recruiters, so as not to spam in any one forum. Assigning overlapping recruiters to the larger forums.
   
   
2. Find volunteers as needed to help with 1 1/2 hours of weekly duties of Recruitment by getting Members, Guests, and Screen Applicants to volunteer to help him as needed for "3 month tours" or more.
   
   
3. Avoid and defuse any net-mosquito attacks against [TiC] recruitment activities which typically means simply ignoring them.;-)
   
   
4. Brief the Clan as needed at monthly CLAN MEETINGS and STAFF MEETINGS. Designate "backups" as needed in his Department.
   
   
5. The person in charge of the "RECRUITMENT Department" should spend about 2 hours each week on the [TiC] Events responsibilities. "Event Coordinators" should spend about 1 1/2 hours each week.
