"Covert Super-sonic H.A.L.O. Pod Insertion":

It was a scorching hot Summer in '68, at least on the ground. We were just a lone tiny handful of Special Warfare Troops inserted behind enemy lines to recruit and organize a resistance for [TiC]. We each went in with our standard issue of 180 rounds of ammo, weapon of choice, our cammies, our first aid kit, one radio, and (5) 20 pound high explosive charges with assorted booby-trap gear for the team, and all the food we dare each carry for the period of the insertion. The insertion was to be a night time hs-HALO drop. H.A.L.O. jumps (High Altitude Low Opening) are notoriously risky, hs-HALO's even very much more so. We jumped at high speed and high altitude (hs-HALO) in the first combat deployment of the "hs-HALO Pod". [TiC]EVIL. was continuely *****ing about his oxgyen mask cutting his chin, as he had gotten stuck with the old prototype-1E mask and everyone else had been issued the new production models. The dispatch plane was a brut force bullet, some say it was a modified SR-71 blackbird. We don't know, as it was dark when we were attached to it in the Pod. The plane cut through the air like a rocket, [TiC]Big's pressure suit had a malfunction and his right leg kept going numb during the flight. The plane flew right to the edge of the target country's border and released the hs-HALO pod with us in it. We fell for what seemed hours, only though it was a span measured in minutes. At 27,000 feet the pod's slowing chute deployed and I could feel my lungs touch my stomach from the G shock of slowing, the Translator Operative blacked out from the high Gs. At a classified altitude a series of bangs thundered around us as the explosive bolts blew the pod into it's designated 4 split-away sections. We began to individually free fall, we each deployed highly modified para-sail chutes with a crisp "pop". As we drifted on the wind and the pre-dawn day's light began to just barely start to decrease the darkness of night, we caught a glimps of the nearing designated landing zone. As we desended to about 500 in altitude, everything was going just like clock work, then it happened. We came under intensive small arms fire from a unknown source, it could have been.....

Hey, wait a moment....I might be off on that a bit know that I think about it. Maybe it wasn't 1968 come to think about. In 1968 I was learning to ride my first bike, playing with tonka trucks, eating poptarts with koolaid chasers, and eyeing a hot-wheels race track in the Sears catalog for a possible Christmas present from Santa Claus. Yea, maybe it wasn't '68 now that I think about it again. Regardless, the [TiC]Recruitment has been through hell and back on a very lengthy covert [TiC]Recruitment mission. [TiC]Big was been behind enemy lines organizing and building a resistance force in very dangerous enemy zones with little to no support for a very long time. Things are changing now however as we are deploying [TiC]Members to strategic areas to help us with small arms cover fire and assisting our recruitment efforts as needed. If the MiGHTY [TiC]TALK is CHEAP Clan's Recruitment Department asks for your assistance and a small amount of your time and support for the [TiC]Clan, please help, as the [TiC]Recruitment Team has been through hell and back for you guys. We can't tell you everything we do or have done, as it is TOP SECRET, but just help if was ask for some cover fire from you.
