Any Guest or Member may host an event. We would ask "Screened Applicant" to focus their time on becoming a Guest first, rather then hosting an event.

People that volunteer to host or co-host events are called an "Event Leader". Events can be anything: general play, tactical training, Server Search Party, classes, practices, new games, scripting, ICQ, rconing, sprites-crosshairs, mapping, SOG, Map Nights, you name it. Any game can be played, we are not limited to just Half-Life TFC or CS.

It is best is to give an event for at least two or three weeks in a row to establish it. The first week may be light but after a couple of weeks people are better prepared and will remember to attend. Some Classes maybe a one time deal (Example: a class on "How to make Half-Life maps", etc, etc.)

It is recommended that you check the recent Event Calendar posts, to find a time which does not conflict with other events. There is no point in having two events both starting at the same time! The Events Department will be happy to include your event on the Event Calendar just fill out the "Host an Event Form" below.

These periods may already have regularly scheduled events with Event Leaders committed to them on a repeating weekly basis. Please contact these Event Leaders or Instructors to assist them and even co-host. We all could use a little help, and it looks good on your Permanent Record at the [TiC] Corporate Office (buried deep under Cheyenne Mountain, Wyoming).
